DUBieus
On the 31st of May 2008 the crew was officially announced on the dutch Dubstep.nl Forum. With dubstep being the focus and the years lying ahead being the road, DUBieus found meaning.

Both 2007 and 2008 have been accelerated years for dubstep. For three dutch dubstep heads it was a simple but daring choice. Dubious DJ’s with no events on their name, dubious ideas with little means to accomplish them and above all support?!

While the crew exists already for over a year now, feedback and appreciation have been above expectations. Being active as a crew since end of May 2008, already DUBieus found itself DJ’ing alongside names such as Gemmy, T++, The Others, Peverelist, Reso, Cotti, Headhunter, Shackleton, 2562 / A Made Up Sound, Zomby, Benga, Moving Ninja, 501, Marlow, Nuno Dos Santos, Untold, Grimelock, Time, Youngsta, Vader, Sigha, RSD and Hudson Mohawke. All of this was made possible by names / events such as Subway, Randstad Rollaz, Radical, Lockdown, Utreg United, Sonic Warfare, Sub Infusions, Dubstep A Gogo, Langweiligkeit, Gute Laune and SKCEP! on which DUBieus was invited. Affiliation with Eat This Media made DUBieus one of the biggest names in Utrecht, hosting and running Dubstep A Gogo, Gute Laune and other genre musical nights.

Ew00t
Upcoming talent ew00t is winning hearts and acknowledgement for this selections and lively mixing skills.

His interest in dubstep started of in the summer of 2006, hearing Vex’d doing a boomin’ set that literally blew him away. The frequencies of the subs had not missed their impact. The virus started to spread! Alongside other big names in the Dutch scene, ew00t fell for the sound.

ew00t started spinning dubstep around early 2007. After having observed the developments for half a year, he decided to trade in Drum & Bass for dubstep. ew00t uses multiple (unique) tricks and selections to create absolutely insane mashes and dance floor killing combo’s. With his personal prefer leaning more towards the raw and harder kind of tunes, ew00t surprises the crowd even more by mixing tunes out of all the corners dubstep has to offer. Just as easy.

DJ +
A true veteran when it comes down to (underground) electronic music. With his musical library and knowledge extending your average DJ and music lover, he’s a heavyweight to deal with.

With his first dubstep mix originating from 2005 DJ + carries a relative long dubstep history and knowledge in The Netherlands. Once he discovered the sound through (underground) electronic music he immediately recognized the impact of it.

His style can be described as talented, versatile and experimenting. From easy going dubstep sets played for general public in a city theatre to heavy bass-pulsing, snare tearing and tense percussion filled dubstep on gigs.

It is no secret that DJ + forms the central pillar of the crew. His experience, selections and knowledge surprises not only organizers and listeners but his crew members. Every time again!

Chrome
In 2007 and 2008 he was better known by his real name and his photographies. Following and merging in the direct line of documenting dubstep he was the first and best known photographer in The Netherlands. Where Georgina Cook in England did her thing, Chrome was doing here.

Chrome is the most closed-book person in the crew. Not many know where his inspiration comes from and his sometimes experimental tracks have to be listened twice before they digest. Already producing and DJ’ing for over two years Chrome has the default ability to surprise a packed room.

Never stopping the beat or forgetting the melodies, Chrome shifts from Bristol’s newest track al the way to Croydon before you even realize you are listening to deep house or techno. With his own tracks improving, getting more attention and air time on the radio (SubFM) he is making solid steps forward.
